The second was a work-in-progress on how we decide to stop testing, and why "testing" takes so long.

This was a fairly inspiring occasion; one of the first times that I've even seen a development organization make excellent use of metrics. They used metrics for inquiry, not for control; that is, every measurement was assumed to prompt questions rather than to give answers.
